Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

RedBrick Pizza Continues Growing in the East and West

PALMDALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/22/09 -- RedBrick Pizza Worldwide, Inc. has announced its continued expansion in the East and West with recent openings of RedBrick Neighborhood Cafés™ in Destin, Florida; Pasadena, California and Farmington, New Mexico.

"They love the food," said Master Developer Jim Sickler of Triple JM, LLC in Florida, who is developing RedBrick Neighborhood Cafés™ in northwest Florida and southern Alabama.

"We have had a great response in Pasadena with a good location and a lot of foot traffic," said Master Developers Shaun Trivedi and Nupur Patel of Solstice Estates. They have a four-year track record of success with RedBrick in Mira Loma.

"Farmington is on fire with RedBrick," said Franchisee Alicia Brandt as she spoke of the Cafés' "phenomenal" opening. Master Developer Neil Bhakta of RBP Gourmet Pizza Enterprises owns the territory in New Mexico and west Texas, and he plans to open another Café in either El Paso or Albuquerque by the end of the year. "This is the best pizza ever -- the flavor is unbelievable," added Brandt when she described how patrons have come back two and three times in the week since the Café opened.

"We are excited to further RedBrick's reach," said RedBrick Pizza's President Jim Minidis. "Historically franchise businesses do well not only in a good economy but also during a slower economy, so this is an opportune time for Master Developers to be expanding," Minidis added. RedBrick Pizza offers one of the lowest-cost franchise packages in the industry.

Currently, RedBrick Pizza has a Master Developer Stimulus Package offering interest-free financing to qualified Master Developers for up to 50 percent of their Master Franchise fee. In addition, they receive $10,000 from every initial franchise fee in the territory and can open their own locations and sub-franchise. "RedBrick Master Developers come from many diverse backgrounds, including finance, marketing, sales and food service, and they find our business model is simple and easy to learn," explained Minidis.

RedBrick Pizza has garnered numerous accolades from trade and business press nationwide. In 2008, Restaurant Business magazine ranked RedBrick Pizza 8th of "The Future 50" fastest-emerging growing chains in America.

RedBrick Pizza is the leading fast-casual pizza franchise with operations in 12 states and Canada. For Master Developer and franchise information, call (661) 722-5895 or e-mail mdfranchisesales@redbrickpizza.com.
