Sony PSP May Feature Porn
What Next for the Popular Game Handheld?

This just in from Tokyo - "adult" video will be released for the Sony PSP starting next month. This will be "authorized" content, too, in the sense that it will not need to take advantage of the recent hacking of the system's firmware version 1.5.
The reason is that the PSP uses a Universal Media Disc, allowing movies and video content to be played in addition to games. "We regulate the development of games with adult content by adopting our own format. But as for videos, the responsibility for content is left to the developers,'" said an unnamed Sony exec in a Japanese newspaper.
Handheld games have become far more sophisticated in recent years, and are now able to deliver high-quality graphics on a par with traditional video systems. Sony, in an apparent bid to extend the PSP's popularity beyond a core, mostly young game-playing audience, included the video disc on the PSP to allow films and other video content in addition to the games.
