Those deep discounts that Microsoft was briefly offering on pre-orders of Windows 7 in North America and Japan are no more.
As of Saturday upgrades to Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional are now officially selling for their suggested list prices of $120 and $200 respectively rather than $50 and $100.
The discounts have now moved on to the UK, France and Germany until August 14.
Wednesday BBC News said UK pre-order sales on Amazon in the first eight hours exceeded pre-orders for Vista over 17 weeks.
