Today leading IT market research advisory firm IDC released its report on the Worldwide Mobile Middleware Market. In that report IDC recognized Sybase iAnywhere as a leader in mobile middleware software for the seventh consecutive year.

The report found that the worldwide mobile middleware market grew by 10.1% from 2007 to 2008, reaching $853.8 million in revenue. IDCis predicting that the worldwide market will grow by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.6% over the next five years to reach $1.6 billion by 2013.
