Macromedia Announces MAX 2005 Conference
To Be Held October 16-19 in Anaheim

Macromedia, Inc. has announced its third annual MAX
conference, to be held October 16-19 in Anaheim, Calif.
MAX 2005 is set to give designers and developers a forum to share ideas with
their peers, as well as get hands-on technical training, gain new skills,
network with industry leaders, and attend sneak previews of upcoming Macromedia
products. The conference will also highlight the power of the Macromedia Flash
Platform " to deliver the most effective experiences for rich content,
applications, and communications in a range of industries, including financial
services, education, government, and telecommunications," the company
says.
"This is shaping up to be the most incredible conference we have ever
hosted," said Kevin Lynch, chief software architect, Macromedia. "The
Flash Platform is continuing to evolve dramatically this year, and MAX will be
the place to engage with the latest developments."

MAX 2005 will feature more than 90 unique workshops and hands-on sessions,
technical support labs, a cyber café, partner exhibits,
"birds-of-a-feather" networking events, and presentations by key
industry figures including keynote presentations by Stephen Elop, CEO of
Macromedia, and Bruce Chizen, CEO of Adobe Systems. In-depth technical sessions
will cover the range of Macromedia products and solutions for mobile and
devices, web design and development, rich Internet applications, web
