Industry News Desk NetSuite Makes Another Lunge at SAP’s Base
It has dreamt up something called the Crossroads Initiative

NetSuite, the Larry Ellison-owned cloud ERP house, has dreamt up something called the Crossroads Initiative to move SAP R/3 users facing end-of-life scenarios to its cloud. It says the poaching operation is supported by integration partners CastIron, Pervasive and Boomi and includes NetSuite products, partner services and a special sales promotion so mid-size companies and divisions of larger companies can transition off of aging SAP software to NetSuite OneWorld for SAP, its cloud-based business management suite for SAP customers. See, maintenance for R/3 V4.6 is due to end in March and maintenance for SAP R/3 4.7 will be extended, but will cost more.
NetSuite claims going to its cloud is easier and cheaper than SAP's forced migration. They'll never have to pay for maintenance again or do another SAP upgrade themselves. The deal includes a perpetual 50%-off NetSuite license. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
