new advanced programming course for developers ready to learn J2EE development. Servlet and JSP Programming for WebSphere using Rational Developer
6 focuses on Servlets, JavaServer Pages, and JDBC.
Students learn how
to manage user sessions to add shopping cart functionality to a website, add
error handling, use and create tag libraries, and build JavaBeans and use them
in a JavaServer Page. They also learn how to use JDBC to integrate WebSphere
applications with relational databases. The course focuses on the use of IBM's
Rational Application Developer 6 as the development tool.

This course installs as a plug-in to IBM's Rational
Application Developer 6. Students take the course while in the Rational
environment and do the live demonstrations and student activities right in the
Rational development environment. A certified instructor is jus a click away to
help the student as required. The prerequisite for this course is TLCC's
Introduction to WebSphere using Rational Developer 6 and a
knowledge of Java. TLCC has also announced a bundled package that combines both
of TLCC's WebSphere courses using Rational Developer 6 and a practice
certification exam at a discounted price.
The
