Mike Milinkovich To Keynote at EclipseWorld Conference with "The Father of XP" and Borland's CTO
Kent Beck and Patrick Kerpan Are the Other 2 Keynoters; Event Takes Place August 29-31, 2005, in New York City

Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation, will be a featured keynote speaker at the first annual EclipseWorld Conference, scheduled for August 29-31, 2005, in New York City. He will be joined by Kent Beck, an expert on agile methodologies and author of  "eXtreme Programming eXplained: Embrace Change," and Patrick Kerpan, chief technology officer, Borland Software Corp.

The EclipseWorld Conference will feature more than 50 classes and tutorials for enterprise IT professionals using Eclipse tools and technologies. The conference consists of one full day of tutorials followed by two days of technical classes.

Milinkovich's keynote will be on Tuesday morning, August 30.

Alan Zeichick, conference chairman of the EclipseWorld Conference, said:

"The Eclipse Foundation, of course, is at the center of the Eclipse ecosystem. As managers of the open-source community and stewards of the technology, the Foundation, is incredibly important to all Eclipse users, and to all EclipseWorld attendees."

In the past, Milinkovich has held key management positions with Oracle, WebGain, The Object People and Object Technology International Inc. (which subsequently became a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM), assuming responsibility for development, product management, marketing, strategic planning, finance and business development.
