Windows 7 has sold at an unprecedented rate in the few weeks it’s been out, double any previous version of the operating system according to what Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told the company’s annual stockholders meeting the other day. He was reportedly counting both boxed and OEM copies but did not offer any numbers. Windows 7 officially went on sale October 22.
