Is Microsoft Stalking Linux? Sybase and BMC Extend Agreement

exec Martin Taylor recently contacted OSDL CEO Stuart Cohen about having the
organizations work together to create an analysis of using Windows vs. Linux. Visual
Paradigm has released a new version of its Unified Modeling Language, which
supports real-time bi-directional round-trip code-model synchronization. Microsoft
has introduced controls and new sample code for Microsoft Office Live
Communications Server 2005, designed to make it easier for developers to
combine presence and real-time collaboration capabilities with line-of-business
applications. Sybase and BMC Software
have extended their strategic alliance, to offer customers a total systems
