Initial Company Donation of $50,000 Toward Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

The McAfee Grant will be used to help support the immediate humanitarian relief efforts and will support the American Red Cross's Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund. McAfee will immediately match the total of employee donations on a one-to-one basis to the fund. McAfee is also identifying short-term needs for McAfee product donations to support emergency response and recovery efforts. Finally, McAfee's Employee Volunteer Office Leaders are identifying volunteer needs near its largest US offices. "We share our deepest sympathies with all of those impacted by this disaster, and we encourage our customers, partners and employees to continue the McAfee spirit of giving back to communities around the world," Samenuk said.
