InfoGlue CMS and JSR 168 Portal application has announced the release of
version 2.0 Final. Its developers says they "have worked
long and hard with this release as several big changes have been made and
several big new features have been added." With this release InfoGlue has taken the step from being only a good CMS to now being a Portal/CMS hybrid which was always the intention, its developers say. This release contains many bug fixes compared to 2.0RC2 but also features a lot of new functionality and performance improvements," according to the company. InfoGlue is an advanced, scalable and robust content management / Portal platform written in 100% Java. It is suitable for a wide range of applications and organizations. Typical uses include public websites, portal solutions, intranets and extranets. The platform is released under the GPL-license and it can be run on almost any platform, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and most Linux distributions, and it is compatible with most major databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle and DB2.Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
