Denis Martin is EVP and CTO of NaviSite, based in Andover, Mass. He is delivering a session at Cloud Expo on the topic of a "Transparent Extension to Your IT Organization." NaviSite CTO Denis Martin will deep dive into the architecture and the real building blocks of NaviCloud." Martin's resume shows extensive experience in network-based computing and outsourced delivery of business solutions and managed services. Before joining NaviSite, he managed the national hosting and application services organization for AppliedTheory, Inc. He has also acted as a consultant to several state and federal agencies in developing network and application programs at local, state and national levels. NaviSite will also look at Cloud Computing from the angle of pitfalls to avoid, specifically seven of them, according to Vishal Sharma, Sr. Director of Business Development. "Faced with high in-house deployment, management, and support costs for its mission-critical enterprise applications, enterprises are turning to the cloud for its economic efficiencies and speed of deployment," according to Sharma's session abstract.
