Tools Will Help to Reduce Complexity for Development Teams Utilizing Eclipse

“At AccuRev we view ourselves as an open, standards-based provider of productivity tools to engineers, so we have a natural alignment with the Eclipse Foundation,” said Lorne Cooper, President, AccuRev, Inc. “The Eclipse vision of an open, comprehensive, development environment for best-of-breed toolsets is one that benefits our mutual customers, and something we want to continue to support.” The AccuRev plug-in for Eclipse, Cooper added, allows developers to utilize much of the AccuRev SCM functionality without ever leaving their familiar Eclipse IDE environment. "This provides developers with a transparent, yet stable and highly functional environment with stream-based process automation, and private workspaces for doing complex, distributed application development." “We look forward to their participation in the projects and open source development,” Milinkovich said.
