Quest Software To Migrate Health Systems IT to Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory
Atlantic Health Systems Simplifies Novell-Dependent Environment

Quest Software and Intrinsic Technologies have been chosen by Atlantic Health System to work with Intrinsic to implement Quest’s Active Directory migration and management software to simplify and manage its IT infrastructure.
“We were looking to create a more unified directory services environment by having all of our user accounts in Active Directory,” said Pat Zinno, director, Infrastructure Services and Support, Atlantic Health System. “Our systems are only as stable as the underlying infrastructure allows them to be. Intrinsic and Quest are infrastructure experts, so it just makes sense to use their professional services and software.”
While Atlantic has some legacy applications that are dependent upon Novell, the company decided to simplify its environment by migrating all user accounts to Active Directory using Quest NDS Migrator. For efficient management and security of the new Active Directory environment, they have licensed the Quest Management Suite for Active Directory. Atlantic has also selected Quest InTrust to help meet audit and compliance requirements.
“Intrinsic’s team really understands the Windows infrastructure, and we are pleased that they recommend Quest to their clients, including Atlantic Health System,” said Andrew Fraser, director, Alliance and Partner Development, Quest Software. “Intrinsic’s best-practice recommendations and our software will give Atlantic a solid foundation for all its applications and IT initiatives.”
