Telerik announced the availability of their Service Pack 2 of the r.a.d.controls suite. This introductes new functionality rather than bug fixes, including major modifications foreffortless integration with the AJAX-based r.a.d.callback controls, which have been released with the Q3 2005 volume.
r.a.d.callback is a suite of AJAX-enabled UI controls, which allow you to update page content without postback and loss of scroll position. The short response time combined with the smooth interface transitions results in superior users experience and level of interactivity, which can only be found in desktop applications.
This new coherent operation of the Telerik ASP.NET suite will allow developers to harness the capabilities of AJAX technology for building extremely fast and responsive web-applications, and to significantly improve the end-user experience.
To illustrate the new tight integration across the Telerik r.a.d.controls line, we have a set of 10 new examples.
Service Pack 2 is a free update for all customers who have r.a.d.controls Q3 2005 licenses.
