• Full access to Flash Platform runtime objects – The transparent testing mode providing full access to all ActionScript objects and visual assets and their native properties, previously available only for Flex, is extended to Flash Professional in TestComplete 8.2. This new capability allows users to enhance their tests so that they write and read values directly to and from Flash Platform runtime objects. Users can also use native object properties with exclusive TestComplete Name Mapping for more robust object identification.
• Automated test preparation – TestComplete automatically opens up Flash Builder and Flex applications for testing, which greatly simplifies and speeds up the testing process. As no changes or recompilation are required for the tested Flash Platform application, what is tested is exactly what will be deployed or shipped to customers. This ensures consistency in testing and helps eliminate potential hard-to-find defects.
