In presenting the award, the Chair of the Judging Panel, Dr Harry Brunjes, said that John had campaigned tirelessly on behalf of injured persons seeking justice, highlighting his work for the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS), his appearances before the House of Commons Transport Select Committee considering the cost of motor insurance and his many media appearances.
