Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

Operation Warm's Coats For Kids Foundation and International Delight Partner to Help Keep Children Warm This Winter

CHADDS FORD, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/20/12 -- By simply enjoying a warm beverage this winter, you could give the gift of warmth and help provide a child in need with a brand new winter coat. International Delight®, Silk®, Horizon® and Land O'Lakes® have pledged to donate up to $100,000 to Operation Warm and its Coats For Kids Foundation to provide American children living in poverty with brand new winter coats.

From now until Jan. 15, 2013, consumers can pick up specially marked packages of International Delight, Silk and Horizon seasonal products as well as Land O'Lakes creamers and visit www.shareyourdelight.com to register the product's UPC code. For every product registered, 50 cents will be donated to the Coats For Kids Foundation. Eligible products are specially marked with a red scarf and a full list of these products can be found online at: www.shareyourdelight.com.

"A proper winter coat is a huge necessity, especially in freezing temperatures," says Carey Palmquist, executive director of the national nonprofit Operation Warm. "Not having one can be a major barrier to their education by prohibiting children from attending school."

For 1 in 5 American children currently living in poverty, parents are often forced to choose food and shelter over proper clothing. Palmquist says by giving a new winter coat to these children, they are addressing an immediate need. The coats alleviate a major financial burden for parents and keep children in school where they receive an education, a warm meal and heated shelter five days out of the week.

International Delight, Silk and Horizon seasonal products as well as Land O'Lakes creamers have pledged to donate up to $100,000 to the Coats For Kids Foundation this holiday season. For a complete list of eligible products, and to track the campaign's progress and coat-o-meter, visit: www.shareyourdelight.com.

"A $100,000 donation would mark the single largest contribution in the history of Operation Warm's Coats For Kids Foundation," says Palmquist. "More importantly, it will mean thousands of additional children living in need will receive new winter coats."

Operation Warm is the only national nonprofit providing new winter coats to American children living at and up to 150 percent of the federal poverty line. The organization has distributed more than one million coats to children ages 3 to 12, in 37 states across the United States. To make a direct donation, go to: www.operationwarm.org.
