Sarah K. Ivy Appointed to Tax Practice at Leading Law Firm

RADNOR, Pa., Nov. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SorinRand LLP today announced the appointment of Sarah K. Ivy as counsel in the firm's tax practice. Ivy brings nearly 15 years of experience counseling clients in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation. Based in the firm's Radnor, PA office, Ivy brings an expertise in the highly complex rules and regulations under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. She creates, implements and terminates employee benefit plans for the firm's highly regarded base of emerging growth and middle-market clients, and performs due diligence with respect to employee benefits matters in merger and acquisition transactions. Ivy also is a leader in counseling clients regarding the myriad issues associated with, and the coming changes resulting from, health care reform. An integral part of SorinRand's tax practice, her practice areas include: corporate tax; partnership tax; limited liability companies; tax credit finance; S corporations; tax exempt organizations; and succession planning.

She earned her juris doctor from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 1998 and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ivy completed her bachelor's degree at Frostburg State University, graduating cum laude in 1994.
