cloudhosting14 wrote: As you would already know that managed hosting itself is another form of Cloud hosting in which the system administrations of servers is looked upon by the CPs. Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

Neotys Announces the First Complete Mobile Performance Testing Solution

Neotys, a leader in easy-to-use, cost-effective load and performance testing tools for web and mobile applications, today announced the release of NeoLoad 4.1, a significantly enhanced version of its load and performance testing solution.

A major new feature of NeoLoad 4.1 is its ability to simulate real-world mobile network conditions making it the first complete mobile performance testing solution. NeoLoad 4.1 is the industry’s first tool that combines WAN emulation and performance testing in a single, integrated solution. Customers benefit by having real-world mobile network conditions incorporated into their load test environments, including bandwidth, latency and packet loss simulation. The integration improves the realism of mobile load tests which helps organizations increase the quality and performance of their mobile applications. The enhanced 4.1 product also expands NeoLoad’s technology support which means it can now record all desktop and mobile applications.

Version 4.1 also introduces the support of SPDY, making NeoLoad the first load testing tool to support this new technology. SPDY is an open networking protocol developed by Google to transport web content with the goal of reducing web page load time. Other enhancements include even deeper support for web standards including HTML5 which ensure open, reliable efficient applications. For complete details of what is new, click here.

“A key challenge performance testers have with mobile applications is how to make the test scenarios work as they would in production. In the past they had to combine multiple tools to effectively simulate devices and networks, but NeoLoad 4.1 changes all that,” said Scott Barber, CTO, PerfTestPlus. “With its new mobile network simulation capability, NeoLoad now gives testers the power to create unprecedented realism from a single tool. Among the other new features, one of my favorites is the ability to import monitoring data from external tools. This is something I’ve been asking for, for years! It’s nice to see that someone is listening. Adding all this to NeoLoad’s well-known ease-of-use for web 2.0 apps makes this release a big deal.”

“The explosive growth of mobile applications has created new challenges for testing organizations that need to realistically simulate production user scenarios including the network they run on,” said Gerald Labie, CEO, Neotys USA. “NeoLoad is evolving rapidly to meet industry needs; displaying leadership by integrating new technologies to ensure customers have all they need to generate real world test conditions for mobile applications so their users don’t themselves end up as application ‘testers’ by default.”

NeoLoad is designed for Web and mobile applications to realistically simulate user activity and analyze server behavior. The solution allows users to test more quickly, efficiently and frequently, enabling faster deployment of Internet, intranet and mobile applications. NeoLoad supports all web architectures including the newest technologies such as SPDY, HTML5, Ajax Push, Flex, Silverlight and GWT.

Pricing and Availability

NeoLoad 4.1 is available immediately. Pricing is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of requirements and budgets. Interested parties can also download a free trial version.
