cloudhosting14 wrote: As you would already know that managed hosting itself is another form of Cloud hosting in which the system administrations of servers is looked upon by the CPs. Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

Thirteen Players on USA Hockey's World Junior Team are Hockey IntelliGym Graduates
Cognitive training tool, originally developed from technology used to train air force pilots, helps hone hockey sense

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/05/13 -- Thirteen members of the U.S. National Junior Team, which captured the Gold medal at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship, used The Hockey IntelliGym as part of their training regimen while members of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program (NTDP).

The product, which uses technology originally designed to train Israeli and American fighter pilots, helps hockey players develop and enhance hockey sense and awareness on the ice. USA Hockey's NTDP has been using The Hockey IntelliGym since 2009, during which time the U.S. has captured four straight IIHF U18 Men's World Championship gold medals, and has earned three medals in four years at the IIHF World Junior Championships, marking the first time in the nation's history it has accomplished such a feat.

On Saturday, 10 NHL draft picks including Jacob Trouba (Winnipeg Jets, 9th overall, 2012) J.T. Miller (New York Rangers, 15th overall, 2011) and Rocco Grimaldi (Florida Panthers, 2nd round 2011), along with 2013 NHL Entry Draft-eligible prospects including Seth Jones and Ryan Hartmann, were among the U.S. medal-winners who have utilized the software-based training tool.

The Hockey IntelliGym employs a video-game-like interface to hone decision making under pressure, spatial awareness and anticipation of plays. It customizes training based on a player's size, position, dominant hand and past performance.

"The Hockey IntelliGym addresses an under-utilized aspect of training, and that is the mental side of the game. The deep learning sessions enable our players to work on a variety of situations in a controlled environment and continue to train their minds even after a day of practice and workouts," said Danton Cole, former NHLer and a current head coach at USA Hockey's NTDP.

The Hockey IntelliGym is designed for players ages 12 and up, and is available at www.hockeyintelligym.ca. Single player, family or team licenses are available.

Several elite Canadian teams are also using the product including the Ontario Hockey League's Niagara Ice Dogs, the Notre Dame Hounds, the Concordia Stingers and Simon Fraser University's women's varsity team.

"IntelliGym is designed to help players develop a great knowledge of the game. I think the players like it because it's a fun way of learning. The science of coaching is evolving and I think you'll see more teams using it in the future," said Coach Kevin Figsby of Concordia University.
