Saksoft Announces Partnership With Birst Inc., for Cloud Analytics in UK

CHENNAI, January 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

First UK Partner to Provide Agile Data Analytics

Saksoft Limited, an Information Management Specialist company has announced that its UK subsidiary, Acuma Solutions Limited, has entered into a partnership with Birst Inc., the leader in agile business analytics. Acuma and Birst will jointly deliver cloud-based business intelligence to UK organizations. Acuma is Birst's first partner signed specifically to cover the UK market.

Just last week, Saksoft announced its acquisition of Electronic Data Professionals (EDP), an Information Management company in US. The Birst partnership follows Saksoft's ambition to be the Preferred Information Management specialist to companies across the globe.

Nick Sullivan, Sales Director at Acuma Solutions commented, "As one of the UK's leading independent information management companies, we are constantly looking at new solutions that can meet the requirements of our customers and prospects. Birst's solutions offer fast and effective ways to deliver Business Intelligence and data analytics that can deliver value as well as ease of use. The ability to host cloud BI services either on a customer's premise or on the Birst cloud was also very attractive to us, as it offers greater flexibility and responsiveness to our customers' demands."

Jason Bissell, VP - International Markets at Birst, said, "Companies are looking at how they manage and analyze their data in order to create more opportunities for themselves. We see significant growth potential for Birst and our partner base in the UK, from smaller organizations that are taking their first steps in BI, through to larger enterprises that are either supplementing or replacing their existing BI solutions with more agile data analytics from the cloud. I am very pleased to have brought Acuma on board as Birst's first UK partner to take advantage of this market opportunity."
