SBA to Close Two Business Recovery Centers; Remaining Centers Close Jan. 21 in Observance of MLK Day

ATLANTA, Jan. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that due to a steady decrease of activity the Business Recovery Centers located at 1 Beard Street in Brooklyn will close Saturday, Jan. 12 and another at 2350 Broad Hollow Road in Farmingdale, NY will close Sunday, Jan. 13. In addition, the remaining Business Recovery Centers will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King's Holiday and will re-open the following day. Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Additional information on the disaster loan program can be obtained by calling SBA's Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan application forms can be downloaded from www.sba.gov. The deadline to return applications for physical property damage is January 28, 2013.
