wassem wrote: Hi Tom I liked your article, you covered all the benefits of the thin client computing. In the article you mentioned the low power benefit, and mentioned the HP computer, as low cost solution, but I think that our product the Cubox that Costs 120$ and needs only 3 Watt of power could be another excellent solution.

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

Clean Energy Investments and Hy9 Establish Strategic Partnership to Provide On-Site Hydrogen Power Systems for the African Telecom Market

HOPKINTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/14/13 -- Hy9 (http://www.hy9.com), the leading provider of point-of-use, high purity hydrogen generation products for fuel cells, and Clean Energy Investments focused on creating viable and sustainable hydrogen end-to-end standby power solutions for the African Market, today announced a Strategic Partnership to facilitate the deployment of stand-alone power systems to enable the deployment of wireless communication systems in Africa.

Gavin Coetzer, Clean Energy Investments CEO, said, "The unique conditions in South Africa and Africa have created a market ready for the adoption of Hydrogen Fuels. As compressed hydrogen is not always readily available in the majority of African countries we have partnered with Hy9 to produce hydrogen on site for our Altergy Fuel Cells. The integrated solution will allow us to promote fuel cells beyond the reach of the present compressed hydrogen distribution network."

Gary Clarke, Hy9's president and CEO, said, "Telecommunications, data centers, and other mission-critical applications benefit greatly from the uninterrupted, on-demand power made possible by fuel cell systems coupled to on-site hydrogen generation. We are excited to team up with Clean Energy Investments to bring this power system to Sub-Saharan Africa. With their substantial knowledge of the communications industry in Africa, Clean Energy Investments is well positioned to meet the requirements of customers requiring cost effective, reliable power."

Hy9 and Clean Energy Investments will work together to integrate fuel cell stationary power systems with Hy9's HGS on-site hydrogen generators for turnkey backup power systems suitable for African markets including locations with no grid power. The Hy9 fuel processor, or reformer, converts a liquid fuel, in this case methanol and water, into hydrogen for use with fuel cell power systems eliminating the nearly constant supply of hydrogen cylinders required for off-grid locations.

About Hy9:
Hy9 is the leader in the development and marketing of hydrogen purification membranes and point-of-use pure hydrogen generation for clients who require high-performance solutions to their critical power needs. With over 10 years of experience, Hy9 partners and clients benefit from high reliability and high performance. Hy9 - Making Hydrogen Pure and Simple™.

About Clean Energy Investments:
Clean Energy Investments is focused on developing the hydrogen economy of South Africa by creating viable and sustainable hydrogen end-to-end standby power solutions for the African Market.
