DALLAS, Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- For the seventh consecutive year, ACE Cash Express, Inc., a leading retailer of financial services, supports the effort to educate students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through Junior Achievement. ACE makes an annual contribution to this organization and is pleased to announce this year's $25,000 donation.
"Junior Achievement aligns perfectly with our mission to help children, support education and foster financial literacy," said ACE SVP Eric Norrington. "We really value this partnership and always enjoy participating in JA programs."
Each year, more than 70 ACE associates teach local students the Junior Achievement curriculum. Through this partnership, ACE is able to educate students about the fundamentals of economics and finance with real world applications—lessons they may not learn otherwise.
"Junior Achievement of Dallas is proud of our long-term partnership with ACE Cash Express," said Jan Murfield, president of JA Dallas. "Thanks to our ACE Cash Express volunteers, local students will be given the tools they need to be prepared for the workforce and to make wise financial decisions as they age."
To date, ACE has donated $260,500 to the Junior Achievement of Dallas and has volunteered for numerous JA programs. ACE and its associates will continue supporting this organization with monetary donations and volunteer engagement.
