In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. Dr. Jodi Adamson, Pharm.D. is recognized by Continental Who's Who as Woman of the Year in the Pharmaceutical Industry

DEATSVILLE, Ala., Jan. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- / Continental Who's Who/- Dr. Jodi Adamson, Pharm.D. is recognized by Continental Who's Who as Woman of the Year in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a result of over a decade of dedication and excellence.

Jodi has worked as a Pharmacist with Kmart for 11 Years. She is a true multi-tasker, able to type in prescriptions, answer phones, and eat lunch all at the same time. In addition to her current workload, Jodi is now able to administer vaccines and prides herself on the fact that none of the vaccines given have left patients in any pain.

As a result of her dedication to the Pharmaceutical field, Jodi was awarded the 2007 Kmart Vision Award continuing to provide Customer Care after a tornado destroyed the store she was working in.

In addition, Jodi is the author of The Ten Commandments for Pharmacists, a humorous look at the daily trials and tribulations of a retail pharmacy staff trying to provide pharmaceutical care for the masses while maintaining their own sanity, proving once again that laughter is the best medicine. Additionally, two of her short stories were included in the anthology, It Was A Dark And Stormy Night compiled by Joyce Norman and published by Coyote Moon Books.  Also, a poem called Steampunk Alchemy will be published soon in the Dreams of Steam III anthology by Kerlak Publishing.

Jodi earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Auburn University and holds a B.A. from Huntingdon College. She is currently certified in Vaccinations, CPR, and First Aid.

In her spare time, Jodi enjoys Reading; Writing; Creative Writing; Arts and Crafts; Costume Making; TV and Movies.

Looking ahead, Jodi hopes to administer more vaccines to the public and possibly begin work on a book of Christmas Carols with a Pharmacy Twist.
