In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

Zapproved's Legal Hold Pro(TM) Opens Door to Broader E-Discovery Ecosystem With Introduction of HoldLink(TM) Connectors and MigrationPack(TM)

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 01/29/13 -- LegalTech New York -- Zapproved Inc. announced today the introduction of two technology offerings that make Legal Hold Pro more accessible so in-house legal teams can take control of their data preservation process. HoldLink connectors support information transfer between most enterprise applications systems, leading e-discovery collection and review tools; while MigrationPack imports legacy hold data into Legal Hold Pro so customers can upgrade seamlessly without losing key information.

HoldLink for Legal Hold Pro provides a secure, universal gateway for exchanging critical data with enterprise application systems and electronic discovery tools. The bi-directional API passes information so that Legal Hold Pro can receive updated contact information and also forward custodian data and collection requests to popular collection and processing software tools.

On the input side, HoldLink synchronizes with global address lists such as Active Directory and other mainstream HR and email systems to maintain current contact information, including alerting hold administrators when custodians depart an organization. For connecting with related enterprise applications, HoldLink can share custodian lists, current compliance status and collection requests with software systems further downstream in the e-discovery workflow. Legal Hold Pro is already integrated with Recommind, Nuix, Proofpoint and other systems.

The second offering is MigrationPack, a data migration tool that imports litigation hold history from legacy systems so users can transition easily from an existing hold management tool to Legal Hold Pro. The MigrationPack tool takes legacy data and organizes it into a data structure that aligns with Legal Hold Pro system history. Once completed, hold administrators can manage and monitor ongoing litigation holds including sending hold reminders, adding and removing custodians and, when appropriate, releasing the litigation hold.

"As Legal Hold Pro's customer base has grown dramatically, we received frequent requests for our system to integrate with other software. HoldLink is the result of our development investments that yielded a reliable and secure gateway through which we can share data seamlessly," said Brad Harris, Vice President for Legal Products at Zapproved.

"Similarly, our engineering team wanted a smoother, more reliable way to bring data into Legal Hold Pro after numerous customer requests. We're excited to have these tools available in response to a dramatic increase in customers wanting to leave their previous systems in order to take advantage Legal Hold Pro's comprehensive workflow design and usability," added Harris.

Legal Hold Pro is the fastest growing litigation hold management system in the industry. Organizations are selecting it to replace time-consuming manual legal holds or less sophisticated software tools. During 2012, Legal Hold Pro's customer base more than doubled with an influx of new customers wanting to replace other litigation hold software tools that were no longer meeting their needs.

Legal Hold Pro HoldLink and MigrationPack are available for customers and more details can be provided upon request. Call 1-888-366-0666 or send an email to info@legalholdpro.com, and you can visit Legal Hold Pro at LegalTech at Booth 537.
