First Marblehead to Release Second Quarter Fiscal 2013 Financial Results and Host Conference Call

BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/01/13 -- The First Marblehead Corporation (NYSE: FMD) plans to release its second quarter fiscal year 2013 financial and operating results for the three-month period ended December 31, 2012 after the market closes on Thursday, February 7, 2013. The Company will host a conference call at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, February 7, 2013 to discuss its results. First Marblehead's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Meyers and Chief Financial Officer Ken Klipper will host the call.
