Sage Hill School MEDIA ADVISORY:
Sage Hill School, one of California’s leading college preparatory private high schools, will announce a $7.5 Million “Campaign For Innovative Learning” development campaign to build a new, leading-edge Science Center on its Newport Coast, CA campus.
With $3 Million in private donor support already pledged, Sage Hill is now expanding its community outreach efforts to include Southern California corporations interested in Science Center naming rights opportunities, strategic science-based partnerships, in-kind donations and internships; Foundation grants; individual donations; and strategic partnerships with prominent universities, science museums and scientists.
Following a VIP Reception and Media interview opportunities with Sage Hill’s new Science Advisory Team, Dr. Arthur Lander will kick-off the new Science Center Campaign by presenting a public lecture on Systems Biology -- the second in Sage Hill’s Science Lecture Series. He is an M.D., Ph.D. and Professor of Developmental and Cell Biology and Biomedical Engineering at UCI, and Director of the Center for Complex Biological Systems, an NIGMS National Center for Systems Biology. His inspiring, thought-provoking lecture and audience Q&A session will center on the emerging, interdisciplinary direction of the biological sciences.
Public should RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Science” in the subject line. Media is invited to attend the VIP Reception, interview session and lecture.

The Science Center will actively address Sage Hill’s challenge of having outgrown its current science space, curriculum and ability to expand its innovative service learning and community outreach programs.
The Sage Hill Science Lecture Series is just one of Sage Hill School’s community-based outreach initiatives connecting students and community members of all ages with a passion for science with prominent thought leaders of universities, private research facilities and leading-edge science/technology companies.
