Niklas Bjorkman wrote: Firstly I agree with your conclusion. NewSQL takes the best of the traditional databases and NoSQL databases to combine the benefits of both worlds. I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. Navicure Extends Exclusive MGMA AdminiServe® Partnership

Navicure, a leading Internet-based medical claims clearinghouse for physician practices, today announced that the company will extend its exclusive partnership with the MGMA AdminiServe Partner Network through 2015. The agreement provides Association members with continued access to Navicure’s Web-based claims management technology at preferred pricing.

The MGMA AdminiServe Partner Network was developed to provide members with a portfolio of vendors vetted by the Association. Navicure’s vetting included a six-month in-market pilot program during which members provided detailed reviews about implementation, client service and product functionality. In 2010, following the pilot test of leading clearinghouses, Navicure was selected to join the MGMA AdminiServe Partner Network. The selection was based on the positive feedback received from Association members during the testing period.

“The goal of our AdminiServe Partner Network is to help save our members time when selecting vendors by pointing them to organizations that have benefited their peers,” said Glen Papantonio, manager, affinity relations, MGMA-ACMPE. “Navicure has been a tremendous asset to the MGMA AdminiServe Partner Network and we are thrilled to continue this partnership for another two years.”

“Navicure’s participation in the MGMA AdminiServe Partner Network proves that the Association is committed to providing their members with the best technology options available,” said Jim Denny, founder, president and CEO of Navicure. “By extending this partnership, we are excited to continue to help some of the most sophisticated medical practices around the country continue to improve their revenue cycle and financial performance.”
