My Big Fat Greek Restaurant to Celebrate Grand Opening on Valentine's Day With Live Music by HelenaMaria, Proceeds to Benefit Local Charities

BURBANK, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/06/13 -- Veteran hospitality entrepreneur Zareh Chahenian today announced that his latest venue, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant, 201 E. Magnolia Avenue, Burbank, CA 91502, will celebrate its Grand Opening on February 14, 2013 (http://www.mbfgburbank.com).

Festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting at 2PM by officials from the City of Burbank and the Burbank Chamber of Commerce, followed by an all-day happy hour with 2-for-1 drinks until 6PM.

After 6PM, the restaurant will provide a multiple course dinner, wine, before and after dinner drinks along with live music by Helena and Maria Mehalis, performing as HelenaMaria, with over 6.4 million views on YouTube, to provide the evening's live entertainment. Live music will begin at 7PM with planned breaks between sets to allow for authentic Greek music and dancing by patrons and wait staff.

A percentage of the event's proceeds will benefit the Family Service Agency of Burbank and Project Hope for Greece. My Big Fat Greek Restaurant plans monthly fundraisers for local charities as part of is planned giving strategy.

The venue plans to provide live acoustic, pop, Greek and other ethnic music during evening hours with special events and marquee-value artists to perform as they become available. In addition to lunch, dinner and weekend brunch service, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant provides catering services to local families, businesses, service organizations and to the motion picture and television industries.

My Big Fat Greek Restaurant maintains an off-site liquor license which makes it a service provider of choice to the studios and many local businesses in need of turnkey catering and live event services.
