"Thailand is always a favorite with travelers, and we offer something unique- an intimate experience with Thai culture," said Off The Path Travel's founder and co-owner Alex Martin.

The three day spring press tour starts in Mae Sariang, Thailand on April 5, 2013.  From Mae Sariang, participants will journey into remote villages and areas not seen by tourists.  Based on the personal relationships of Off The Path Travel's owners, Alex and Justin Martin, participants will experience an opportunity to deepen their understanding of their culture through intimate encounters with local villages.

Off The Path Travel specializes in intimate, small group, cultural tours.  This summer, Off The Path Travel will offer its Thai Connection Tour, a two week cultural excursion that brings visitors face to face with the authentic Thailand through homestays, outdoor adventures, visits to hill tribes in Mae Hong Son province, cooking classes and discussions on spirituality and culture with local leaders.  The tour runs for two weeks starting June 28, 2013, with an optional third week focused on secluded beaches in southern Thailand.

"This tour really opens up Thailand from behind the curtain, giving visitors the chance to explore modern Thai life and an understanding of modern Thai culture," said co-owner Justin Martin.

Traditional travel press and bloggers are invited to apply for a spot on the spring 2013 press trip by contacting press@otptravel.com.
