SugarCRM, provider of commercial open source CRM software, announced the availability of Sugar FastStack, a software support and delivery service that provides a fast and simple way to install a complete open source software solution, including Sugar software, the Apache Web Server, PHP and the MySQL database.
Sugar FastStack delivers the quick set-up of On-Demand solutions with the control and flexibility customers demand from On-Site CRM solutions. Non- technical users can install and go live with industry-leading open source technologies in minutes.
"Sugar FastStack eliminates the tradeoff between the fast deployment times of generic On-Demand CRM and the lengthier installation processes of custom On-Site CRM," said John Roberts, Co-founder and CEO of SugarCRM. "With Sugar FastStack, customers gain the deployment speed of On-Demand with the control of On-Site solutions."
Sugar FastStack installs Sugar Professional or Sugar Enterprise along with the rock-solid open source platform consisting of the Apache Web Server, PHP and MySQL database. Sugar FastStack can be installed on all major operating systems, including Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. SugarCRM support is included for the entire FastStack solution.
"Sugar FastStack removes the complexity of installing enterprise software," said Marten Mickos, CEO of MySQL AB. "Combining SugarCRM and MySQL in a user-friendly bundle provides companies with a compelling way to manage and improve the relationships they have with their customers."
