(September 19, 2002) - ObjectVenture Inc. has announced the general availability of ObjectAssembler 2.0, which extends the market-leading JBuilder development environment from Borland Software Corporation with a simplified and accelerated approach to the design, development, assembly, and deployment of J2EE applications using software design patterns. ObjectAssembler simplifies the development of sophisticated enterprise applications through visual representations of patterns, components, and assemblies. Automating many of the tedious and error-prone implementation tasks inherent in enterprise development, ObjectAssembler transforms the traditional integrated development environment into an efficient, streamlined development system. This enables developers using ObjectAssembler to focus their attention on solving their unique business challenges rather than being preoccupied by the details of the underlying infrastructure. ObjectAssembler offers complete support for the J2EE component-based architecture and comes integrated with both Sun's Java Center Pattern Catalog and Apache's Jakarta Struts Framework.
