(February 14, 2003) - Borland Software Corporation has released two new products, Borland Together Edition for JBuilder and Borland Enterprise Studio 5 for Java, to help customers accelerate and streamline the development lifecycle for enterprise software applications. This launch is the result of months of careful integration planning and represents the first technology release driven by the acquisition of TogetherSoft. Together Edition for JBuilder, the latest release of the Together product line, is designed to work seamlessly with Borland JBuilder and help enterprises deliver better Java-based software faster. This new offering is also an integrated component of the new Borland Enterprise Studio 5 for Java, which features a leading integration of analysis, design, development, and performance assurance technologies. By combining Together technology with JBuilder in Borland Enterprise Studio 5 for Java, Borland provides a high level of integration between the Java development solution and design and analysis tools, enabling an increase in productivity and quality. Borland Enterprise Studio for Java can be ordered immediately, and is expected to ship in March 2003. Discounted upgrade pricing is available to current users of the Studio, JBuilder, and Together ControlCenter. A special introductory discount is also available through the month of March.
