(September 24, 2002) - Desaware, Inc.'s latest Microsoft Visual Studio .NET product, StateCoder, ver. 1.0., makes it easier for developers to create and support powerful state machines using Visual Basic .NET, C# and other .NET languages. This .NET class framework solution also dramatically improves the reliability of applications, components, and services that make use of the multithreading and asynchronous features of .NET. State machines reflect a design pattern that can result in dramatic code improvements in certain types of applications including reduced costs, improved testability, and higher reliability. Typical uses for StateCoder include any multithreaded project, predictive ASP.NET projects, projects that manage asynchronous calls or background operations, or projects that implement protocols or data format conversions. StateCoder ver 1.0 follows the release of StorageTools, ver. 3 and SpyWorks Professional ver. 7, two of Desaware's popular COM products that have been revised for use with the Visual Studio .NET framework. In the near future Desaware will release a .NET version of its successful Services Toolkit (now known as NT Service Toolkit) in addition to an updated COM version of this same product.
