This past May, ADOS participated as an independent software vendor in the RosettaNet InterOperability Fest 2002 in Tokyo, where it successfully demonstrated RosettaNet cross-company interconnectivity testing with 22 trading partners and ten other ISVs. ADOS XML Server Mighty has already been deployed with Sony's Spirit e-procurement system as a gateway front server for supply-chain order management of RosettaNet standards. ADOS XML Server Mighty helps achieve the main goals of RosettaNet, driving down management costs and improving time to market by maintaining a flexible supply chain and supporting complex, collaborative business processes. "We expect replacing the EDI-VAN system with RosettaNet standards could vastly cut down the cost of supply-chain management in the near future," said Mr. Taya, director, corporate senior vice president of SONY, at the closing ceremony. "We are very pleased with the success of the interoperability tests. The results and data we received from IOF will make a significant contribution to our further development. The successful testing reaffirms our position as a leading RosettaNet solution provider and shows our ability to deliver real-world RosettaNet solutions," commented Mr. Muratsubaki, CEO, ADOS Co. A consortium of more than 400 of the world's leading Electronic Components (EC), Information Technology (IT), Semiconductor Manufacturing (SM), and Solution Provider (SP) companies, RosettaNet is a self-funded, non-profit organization dedicated to creating, implementing and promoting open e-business standards. These standards form a common e-business language, aligning processes between trading partners on a global basis. Already in use with SONY Spirit e-procurement system for supply-chain management of RosettaNet Standards, ADOS XML Server Mighty allows developers to construct and connect any XML systems simply with the various utilities included, and have unlimited connections at no extra charge.
