(February 19, 2003) - Like many other top enterprises, Microsoft has realized the value of IXIASOFT's native XML database technology to help manage, store, retrieve and index mission critical documents. Users no longer have to shoehorn their rich XML documents in relational databases: the beta version of the IXIASOFT Integration Kit for Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 has just been released. The integration kit enables Content Management Server 2002 developers and system integrators to deploy sites that take advantage of IXIASOFT's TEXTML Server 2.3's high-performance XML search technology. TEXTML Server is a content server designed to store, index, and retrieve XML content. Combined with Microsoft Content Management Server 2002, which produces and publishes XML content natively, TEXTML Server accelerates the development of XML search capabilities, and enhances users' ability to do full-text and meta-data searches. The integration kit consists of .NET Composite Controls that can be dragged and dropped from the Visual Studio .NET toolbox into a Content Management Server 2002 site being developed. These customizable controls will enable developers to provide search and sort functionalities on postings based on the content of placeholders, properties and custom properties. The IXIASOFT Integration Kit is available now at www.IXIASOFT.com. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
