(June 25, 2003) - StrikeIron, Inc., a Web services software development company, has unveiled its first product, the StrikeIron Web Services Analyzer. It provides business intelligence analysts, knowledge workers and software developers with the ability to locate and understand the data structure, data requirements, behavior, and expected results of any Web service anywhere in the world. Web services are emerging worldwide and each has its own business purpose and set of requirements. Implementers of Web services are required to spend an inordinate amount of time pouring over XML documents and writing code in order to understand the Web services' behavior and to quantify their benefits. By using the StrikeIron Web Services Analyzer, the hours spent trying to understand a Web service can be reduced to minutes. The Web Services Analyzer is the first product based on StrikeIron's Web Services Business Object (WSBO) layer. WSBO allows users to combine multiple Web services with added business rules and logic that can then be integrated into common business applications like Microsoft Office, SAP and PeopleSoft. For a limited time, StrikeIron is offering a free beta version of the StrikeIron Web Services Analyzer to information analysts and software developers who are willing to provide direct feedback on the product or are interested in exploring its capabilities.
