(October 31, 2002) - Mobilitec Inc. has just released version 2.5 of its carrier-grade solution, mPower. mPower is an open standard based system featuring content management and delivery, and flexible subscription capabilities.

The newly released version has advanced delivery channels, marketing tools, and implementation of various business models that enable carriers to further promote new download services and customize them for specific subscriber groups based on consumption patterns and preferences.

Introducing a service management approach, mPower enables carriers to provision wide range of content types including audio and image files. Version 2.5 incorporates complete integration of mPower with MMS services. This allows publishing a wide range of multimedia content items and provisioning it to large subscriber communities, converting it into a multi-user interactive service.

Through mPower, carriers can define various promotions, segmented marketing campaigns, and service notifications that are customized to specific subscriber groups. New functionality includes the dynamic definition of service bundles and special consumption-based discounts.
