Offering Better Business Integration Via .NET / Java Interoperability
Jul. 22, 2003 10:30 AM
(July 22, 2003) - Today's IT departments demand that applications easily communicate and exchange data with other applications, whether they run on Java or .NET. With its BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform:, BEA Systems supplies customers with superior interoperability between their existing .NET and J2EE applications, which can help resolve the integration challenges facing many companies today. And because the BEA platform is based on open standards, customers can have greater flexibility with their current and future IT investments, allowing for a lower total cost of ownership. The BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform is the industry's most Windows-friendly Java platform, designed to enable tighter interoperability and easier business integration. BEA makes this possible by offering: BEA WebLogic solutions are interoperable with most Windows Server 2003 applications and services. Ensuring interoperability with .NET is just one part of BEA's business integration strategy. "BEA customers do not want to choose between Java and .NET, they already use both and they want to continue to use both," said Scott Dietzen, chief technology officer, BEA Systems. "Through our interoperability efforts, Microsoft Windows clients can talk with WebLogic Server out of the box. Thus, BEA can make it possible for our customers to leverage their existing IT investments and create greater flexibility and cost savings." For more information, visit www.bea.com.
