Sauers Technologies Releases Public Beta of BundleWorks Application Management Tool
BundleWorks includes ant tasks and command line tools to allow developers to build standard bundles for applications

Sauers Technologies has released a public beta of its BundleWorks product. BundleWorks provides a set of tools to simplify and automate the management of applications throughout the development life cycle from building to testing to deployment to maintenance.

For building applications, BundleWorks includes ant tasks and command line tools to allow developers to build standard bundles for both custom and third-party applications. For testing, BundleWorks allows a developer to create and manage multiple environments to test multiple versions of applications. For deployment, BundleWorks supports local and remote deployment and provides a library of functions to handle common deployment tasks. For maintentance, BundleWorks tracks all bundle actions and configuration changes providing a complete history of activity.

BundleWorks comes in two editions. The Developer Edition allows developers to build and deploy bundles across any number of machines at no cost. The Enterprise Edition adds a web-based dashboard and remote administration capabilities and is licensed based on number of BundleWorks installations.

The BundleWorks Developer Edition is currently available as a public beta. The Enterprise Edition will be available in Q1 of 2008.

BundleWorks supports a wide range of platforms including Linux, Solaris, AIX, Mac OSX, and BSD. Windows support is planned for an upcoming beta release.
