Extentech Inc. launched ExtenXLS 6.0 - the next version of the popular Java Spreadsheet SDK with the ability to automate functions in a spreadsheet application with an advanced Web2.0 API.
In addition to spreadsheet handling available in Java, developers can now take their spreadsheet applications beyond the basics with advanced Web 2.0 spreadsheet. With just a few lines of Java code, developers can now utilize spreadsheet functionality from their AJAX Web applications, and execute powerful features such as spreadsheet versioning, spreadsheet Web services, and distributed collaborative editing.
ExtenXLS boasts automated handling of data mapped spreadsheets with the ability to map data from any source into spreadsheet templates. As data rows are inserted, dynamic spreadsheet objects such as formula references, chart series, named ranges, and formatting are all duplicated and automated so that the output contains not only live data, but keeps formatting and spreadsheet functionality in charts and formulas intact.
ExtenXLS 6.0 uses a single line of code, developers can
output spreadsheet objects to JSON syntax for ready consumption by
