Linux Foundation Picks Up Ts'o

The Linux Foundation, currently home to Linus Torvalds, has named Ted Ts'o, the Linux filesystem maintainer and very first Linux kernel developer in North America, a Fellow and chief platform strategist.
Shifting over from IBM where he led the creation of an enterprise-level real-time Linux solution, he will work full-time for the organization for the next two years on a broad set of Linux technologies including the Linux Standard Base, an initiative he helped organize. He will then return to IBM.
