TOKYO, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- HI CORPORATION (Siège social : Meguro Ward, Tokyo; P.D.G. : Kazuo Kawabata) a annoncé aujourd'hui un accord portant sur la livraison de son moteur graphique MascotCapsule(R) V3 3D pour dispositifs mobiles à SK Telecom ((Siège social : Séoul, Corée)

Disposant de la plus grande part de marché, SK Telecom est considérée comme étant la plus importante compagnie de télécommunications en Corée du Sud.

Les dispositifs mobiles de jeu en ligne sont devenus extrêmement populaires en Corée du Sud. Déjà une cinquantaine de fournisseurs de contenus sont en train de développer des jeux 3D sur la base du moteur MastcotCapsule de HI.

Avec ce nouveau partenariat entre SK Telecom et HI, les fournisseurs de contenus sud-coréens vont faire de MascotCapsule de HI le standard de tous les dispositifs mobiles à contenu 3D dans le pays. Par ailleurs, avec l'expansion internationale de ces fournisseurs de contenus, on s'attend à ce que la présence internationale de MascotCapsule devienne plus importante encore sur le marché des contenus 3D.

D'ici décembre 2005, plus de 5 millions de portables équipés de MascotCapsule V3 devraient être vendus en Corée du Sud.
