ANSYS China won the final bidding for the first phase of the software procurement project and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for additional opportunities.

SSC is set to be the pioneer and model for the other supercomputer centers to be established countrywide. Funded by the central and provincial governments, some supercomputing centers are under planning or development through 2008.
