GINEBRA y HOUSTON, 10 de julio /PRNewswire/ -- Microsoft Corp. y WISeKey anunciaron hoy que fueron seleccionadas por el gobierno regional de Vizcaya para proporcionar una Plataforma de Servicios al Ciudadano (CPS por sus siglas en inglés) integral de gobierno electrónico. Este proyecto de 17,4 millones de euros incluye una federación de identidades de avanzada que permite establecer portales personalizados del ciudadano adaptados a las necesidades e intereses particulares de cada uno en un ambiente real Web 2.0. Según el Sr. José Luis Bilbao, delegado general de Vizcaya, España, "BiscayTIK permitirá que nuestros ciudadanos se beneficien de los servicios de avanzada que impulsan nuestra región hacia el siglo XXI a la vanguardia del desarrollo socioeconómico, con el apoyo de socios de primera clase como Microsoft y WISeKey, totalmente comprometidos a unirse a nosotros en el desarrollo de nuestro centro de tecnología de clase mundial". Microsoft reconoció desde hace largo tiempo la responsabilidad de facilitar acceso a tecnología en maneras que las personas puedan alcanzar su máximo potencial", dice Michel Van der Bel, vicepresidente del sector público de Microsoft International. "Estamos trabajando estrechamente con socios como WISeKey y gobiernos de todo el mundo para promover las cuestiones de políticas de tecnología y para ofrecer soluciones de tecnología que aborden las necesidades de tecnología de información exclusivas de los gobiernos, educadores y organizaciones no lucrativas".
