RGS Awarded $26M Contract to Support the Director Navy Staff Chief Information Officer

ARLINGTON, Va., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- RGS Associates, a leading change management consulting company focused on supporting Federal Government Agencies, has been awarded a five year contract to provide information technology and change management services across the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Staff. The CNO Staff Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support contract for Programmatic, Business Process Management & Technical Support is valued at over $26 million over five years if all options are exercised.

RGS will provide business process analysis, migration planning, portfolio management, knowledge and records management, and strategic planning services for the OPNAV Director of Navy Staff (DNS) CIO. This contract will support the DNS CIO organization in its leadership role at Navy headquarters to leverage information technology in the transformation of the department. RGS will support the Navy in applying the maturing Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) infrastructure to effectively reduce legacy applications, develop and deploy enterprise business solutions, and improve corporate business processes across the CNO staff.

"This contract award is an affirmation of the tremendous work the RGS staff has done across the Navy," stated Fred Raley, RGS Program Manager for the project. "RGS has supported dozens of Navy projects over our 20 year history for customers such as the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Commander Naval Installations (CNI), Navy Logistics and Readiness Directorate (OPNAV N4), and the Sea Enterprise project." RGS President Tom McMahon believes, "this award is a testament to the fact that our change management business model and super pleasing our clients is valued in the federal market. This award provides a platform to continue our growth."

Virtual Workgroup Technologies, CACI International and Competitive Innovations, LLC are partners to RGS for this effort.
