Industry Veteran Will Help Scale Airvana's Operations to Support High-volume Business

CHELMSFORD, Mass., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Airvana, Inc. (Nasdaq: AIRV), the company transforming the mobile experience, today announced the appointment of Laura Cranmer as Vice President of Operations. In this role, Cranmer will join the company's senior management team with responsibility for manufacturing, quality assurance, fulfilment and logistics to support its expanding business.

Cranmer brings to Airvana more than 15 years of experience in operations management. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Manufacturing for EFI, Inc.'s Inkjet Division, where she managed the integration of a multi-plant acquisition, more than doubling capacity while improving quality and reducing cost. Prior to her tenure at EFI, Cranmer held operations positions with companies including Celestica, Inc., Ford Motor Company and IBM. Cranmer holds B.S.I.E and M.S.I.E degrees from Kansas State University and an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
